HOW IT HAPPENED
BOTTOM 1ST | NSU found themselves in a deficit early in the contest, as Barry plated a pair of runs in the opening frame.
BOTTOM 2ND | Barry scored another two runs in the second inning, extending their lead to 4-0.
BOTTOM 3RD | The Buccaneers added two more, pushing the lead to 6-0 over the Sharks, chasing the NSU starting pitcher from the contest. Carlos Rey entered the game out of the bullpen for NSU, pitching the rest of the contest for NSU. Rey struck out eight over five and two-thirds innings, allowing just one run and two hits.
BOTTOM 8TH | Barry scored the final run of the game off of a throwing error by the Sharks.
The Nova Southeastern offense struggled to find their stride, totaling just five hits, and were held off the scoreboard.
